Born and raised in NYC, my desire to travel created a varied life. As a sea captain for a percentage of my life, with camera in hand, brought me full circle, from NY city's School of Arts and Design to sleepy North East North Carolina via half the globe -- sunsets and brides, ball games and kids with funny pets.
